Sparta beat Táborsko 3-1 thanks to two goals by David Lafata and one goal by Lukáš Mareček in the second pre-season friendly before training camp in Austria.

Sparta was dominant just from the start of the match but mostly in possesion and passing play. There were only two chances in the first twenty minuts as Lafata’s header missed the target by inches and Vatajelu missed the open goal when keeper was down and without chance to save it.

So as it was hard to open opponent’s defense with slow build-up Sparta opened the score with a beautiful shot from a distance by Lukáš Mareček with his weaker left foot.

But Táborsko equalised just four minutes later when Frýdek tried to clear the ball but he hit Klusák instead and the ball flew past Koubek.

Goalkeeper Martin Dúbravka and midfielder Srdjan Plavšić came from bench after the half-time to play for the first time after the summer transfer to Sparta.

And Plavšić created the first chance after the restart as he found Šural behind the defense with a fine lob but Šural was unable to place the shot around the keeper.

Plavšić was very active and he won the penalty kick for Sparta, David Lafata converted it well to the left corner to gave Sparta lead back in the 59th minute. It was his fourth goal in the second match of the pre-season.

And he added his fifth goal of the pre-season in the 77th minute after fast passing play through the middle and Vukadinović’s assist from goal line.
