After a 1-4 loss to Dynamo Kyiv, Sparta drew 2-2 with Inglostadt in the second friendly in Austria, despite playing without a number of key players, replaced by juniors.

Young boys did a good job anyway, Špaček and Sváta started from the very beginning, and four others came on the pitch later in the match.

Ingolstadt were setting the pace early in the match and actually took the lead twelve minutes into the match. Miralles fired from outside of the box and Koubek was too short to reach his low shot.

Sparta however levelled the score soon, as Srdjan Plavšić took advantage of a huge mistake of Ingolstadt’s defence and scored his first goal for Sparta.

After ten minutes of play in the second half Ingolstadt took the lead back, as Piško made a foul in the box and Čolak converted the penalty.

Bičík denied the striker in his second chance soon after, and also made a nice save on Watanabe’s shot from a distance.

Sparta managed to answer at the end, as Karavaev crossed the ball from the right, Janko’s header was saved by the keeper, but Ondřej Zahustel tipped the ball in to set the final score.
