Sparta leave České Budějovice with a win and they’re looking forward to the next round of the domestic cup competition. Both their goals were scored in the second half by Pulkrab and Juliš.

Filip Havelka and Filip Císařovský made their debut for the first team, as Sparta struggle with injuries and a number of players have their international team duties too.

More than four thousands spectators had to wait almost thirty minutes for the first chance, and it was a big one. Juliš crossed the ball from the right, but Michal Kadlec only hit a defender, standing on the goal line.

Matěj Pulkrab had another good opportunity to open the score, but home goalkeeper Křížek made a good save to keep Dynamo’s hopes alive. Lafata was then centimeters short of netting Mareček’s sharp cross from the right.

Miroslav Miller in Sparta goal had to make a couple of easy saves, but when Táborský’s header went just wide of his post, Sparta were lucky shortly before the break.

The score finally changed early in the second half. After a couple of passes in the box, the ball bounced to Matěj Pulkrab, who had an easy task of hitting the empty net.

Not even five minutes passed after the opener, when Michal Kadlec crossed the ball from the left and Lukáš Juliš gave Křížek absolutely no chance with a nice volley.

Dynamo managed to score their first in the final minutes of the match, thank’s to Táborský’s header, but that was it for the night. After a 2-1 win, Sparta are through to the next round.
