Patrik Schick completed his transfer to UC Sampdoria. Young striker left the training camp in Austria on Tuesday and passed a medical in Italy on Wednesday. The clubs agreed not to reveal financial details of the transfer.

Patrik Schick, whose contract was about to end in less than 12 months, spent the last season on loan with Bohemians. In total, he played 31 Czech top division matches and scored eight goals.

With the Czech U21 striker gone, Zdeněk Ščasný still has a number of options left in the offence. David Lafata, Lukáš Juliš, Kehinde Fatai and Matěj Pulkrab are in the squad currently training in Austria, while Josef Šural can alternate up front as well. Furthermore, Martin Nešpor also joined the team recently after a great season in Poland.

After Ladislav Krejčí, Patrik Schick is the second player to leave to Italy this summer. Sampdoria finished 15th in the Serie A last season, with Roberto Soriano or Milan Škriniar in the squad.
