It seemed like Sparta were not going to earn any points for a long time at Juliska stadium, but two strikes from the final minutes of the match meant a valuable win.

Konaté was suspended, while Matějovský and Šural were missing due to health issues as well. However, Lukáš Vácha returned to line-up and Petr Jiráček started on the bench after missing some time, too.

Both teams were struggling offensively in the first half, having problems in the attack. Sparta showed two signs of offence, but Dukla’s goalkeeper Rada did not have a tough job keeping efforts by Juliš and Costa from his goalline.

On the other side, Daniel Tetour opened the score after 34 minutes of play, tipping a nice cross from the right past Bičík.

In the second half, Juliš was inches short of levelling the score, but Krejčí’s cross was too long for him. On the other side, Manzia couldn’t hit a wide empty net from a good scoring position, and Čajič got denied by Bičík in a good chance minutes later.

In Sparta’s biggest chance of the match, Krejčí only hit the crossbar and it seemed that all hope was gone. But there was still more to come.

One minute before the end Brabec knocked the ball down for Juliš, who scored a wonderful equaliser. In the additional time, Rada punched Lafata in the face after a scrum in the box, was sent out and had to be replaced by Vrzal, as Dukla have used all their subs. Bořek Dočkal converted the penalty and gave Sparta a valuable win.
