No points from the 286th Prague derby. Sparta lost 0-2 to Slavia, who scored the two game-deciding goals in the second half.

Bořek Dočkal remained in the line-up, however, Tomáš Rosický was still missing. Due to injuries, Vácha and Zahustel weren’t available either.

Packed GENERALI Arena had to wait long minutes for the first time, as the first half was quite careful from both sides. Slavia’s Mešanovič missed the goal in the first big goal opportunity, firing wide after a clever pass by Barák.

Mario Holek, who came on the pitch during the first half, hit the ball with his hand moments before the halftime whistle, but Tomáš Koubek denied Mešanovič from a penalty kick to keep the halftime score goalless.

Koubek and Mešanovič kept meeting each other in the second half, too. First, Koubek made another good save on Slavia’s striker’s shot. However, when Barák’s shot hit the post, Koubek could just watch Mešanovič hitting the empty net and opening the score.

Sparta were trying to level the score, but Slavia added another instead. Zmrhal finished Slavia’s quick counter attack with a low shot to the bottom corner and set the final score. Slavia won the derby 2-0.
